Personal vs Workspace Scope

Before connecting a channel, choose scope:

  • Personal: channel actions run in your personal context.

How Approvals Work in Channels

When an action is high impact, you may get an approval prompt in the channel.

  • Deny: the action is canceled.

Examples of actions that may require approval:

  • sending email
  • creating an event
  • publishing a post
  • running Computer Use tasks from a connected surface

Common Issues

Connected badge is missing

  • Refresh the Channels page.
  • Confirm you finished the Start or code step.
  • Verify you are in the same scope where you connected.

Channel says Coming Soon

  • This usually means rollout is not enabled for your workspace yet.
  • Keep it in your setup plan and enable it when rollout reaches your workspace.

Messages are using the wrong data

  • Check whether you are in Personal or Workspace scope.
  • Scope mismatch is the most common cause.
