Creating Artifacts

Artifacts are created naturally through conversation:

Documents

"Create a meeting agenda for tomorrow's team sync"
"Draft a project proposal for the new feature"

Code

"Write a Python function to parse CSV files"
"Create a React component for a user profile card"
"Generate a SQL query to find duplicate entries"

Images

"Generate an image of a modern office workspace"
"Create an illustration for my blog post about AI"

Spreadsheets

"Create a budget spreadsheet for Q4"
"Make a comparison table of the three proposals"

Tips for Better Artifacts

1. Be Specific About Format

❌ "Write something about our product"
✅ "Write a 500-word blog post about our product's key features,
with an introduction, three main sections, and a conclusion"

2. Iterate Through Chat

Don't try to get it perfect in one prompt. Start simple and refine:

"Write a draft proposal"
"Add more detail to the timeline section"
"Make the tone more formal"

3. Reference Existing Content

"Update the document to include the points from our earlier discussion"
"Add the data from the spreadsheet I uploaded"

4. Use Direct Editing for Small Changes

For quick fixes, edit directly in the artifact editor instead of asking the AI.
